World Stroke Day 2023

Today the global stroke community celebrates World Stroke Day which coincides with the day when the WSO (World Stroke Organisatzion) has been founded in 2006. Particularly on this day it is important to note that EVER Pharma is closely engaged in educational projects related to post-stroke rehabilitation and particularly in collaboration with the WSO.

EVER Pharma has a long history of supporting the WSO and facilitated many educational projects in China, Vietnam, the Philippines and many other countries. As one of the few global pharmaceutical companies active in neurorehabilitation we are a respected partner of the medical community and our willingness to support educational initiatives magnifies our role as essential partner of globally acting medical societies like the WSO.

Under the current leadership of Professor Sheila Martins from Brasil the WSO is aiming to put more focus on the development of acute rehabilitation  by including post-stroke rehabilitation with particular emphasis on topics relevant for low-and middle income countries.

EVER Pharma has already learnt a lot from successful conduct of specific rehabilitation projects supporting countries in their efforts to improve neurorehabilitation standards which have a large impact on reducing post-stroke complications.

Due to this stronger orientation in neurorehabilitation EVER Pharma and WSO will be strategic partners about global educational projects in the future.
